THE HOUSE

A HOME AMONG THE VINES

The Diner family found this estate in 2001. Today, the Residence welcomes up to ten guests to a home shaped by the landscape around it: generous rooms, natural materials, and windows that draw the vineyards and hillsides into daily life.

Gather in the great room, linger over dinner, or retreat to the loft for billiards and a quiet evening by the fire. A gourmet kitchen, spacious dining room, private gym and several living spaces leave room for everyone to settle into a rhythm of their own.

Outside, century oaks shade places to read and unwind. A private heated pool, two fire pits, and an outdoor kitchen with a grill and Mugnaini pizza oven invite long afternoons and meals in the open air.

FIVE PRIVATE SUITES

ROOM TO SETTLE IN

Three king suites and two queen suites each offer a private bathroom and a different perspective on the estate. Stone sinks carved from the property, rain showers and thoughtful details connect the rooms to the land beyond their windows.

A large stone fireplace stands behind the king bed, which has a view out to a stone patio and hills beyond

The Master Suite

Our largest king suite offers generous seating, a walk-in closet, a fireplace, and a secluded office and sun room. A private patio and fire pit look toward the estate. The bathroom has two vanities, a soaking tub overlooking the vineyard, and a custom stone shower with dual heads and steam.

The Aviary Suite

High in the home, this light-filled king suite takes in sweeping views of Alexander Valley. A round room with a turreted ceiling and walk-in closet opens to a spacious bathroom with a soaking tub, walk-in shower and large vanity.

The Treehouse Suite

Set alongside the canopy of a century oak, our second-largest king suite overlooks the Residence pool. A work desk and walk-in closet make it easy to settle in; the bathroom offers a soaking tub, walk-in shower and large vanity.

The Courtyard Suite

This queen suite looks directly toward the vineyard and hillsides, with large windows bringing in the natural light. A generous closet and spacious bathroom with an extra-large walk-in shower complete the room.

Vineyard, pool and hillside views frame this queen suite. An oversized closet, built-in cabinets and countertops provide ample space for a longer stay, alongside a private bathroom with a large walk-in shower.

THE ESTATE

THE PLEASURE OF BEING HERE

The Residence sits within Skipstone’s two hundred acres above Alexander Valley. Twenty-seven acres of vineyard share the estate with olive groves, orchards, culinary gardens and wooded hillsides. The landscape is part of the stay, from the first light over the vines to a quiet walk beside the spring-fed pond.

Explore at your own pace. Walk or jog the estate, spend time among the olive trees and sheep, gather fresh eggs, and discover what is ready in the gardens. Apples, pears and seasonal produce offer a sense of the place that extends naturally to the table.

Drought-conscious planting and native trees reflect the same care for the land that guides the wines. Beneath an old oak, beside the pool, or out among the vines, there is space to take it all in.

A view over a dinner table to the lawn and vista beyond, with a group of friends chatting.

YOUR EXPERIENCE

WINE COUNTRY, AT YOUR PACE

Your stay begins with a conversation. Our team offers complimentary itinerary planning, shaped around your interests and the people joining you. Every stay includes a private Skipstone tasting and estate tour, an opportunity to explore the wines in the place where their story begins.

Let us help arrange private chefs, time at local wineries, or dining at celebrated restaurants such as Cyrus and SingleThread. Guests also have access to Mayacama tee times through our vintner partnership, with the chance to experience its Jack Nicklaus-designed course.

For those who wish to explore further, our team can introduce the proprietors’ cellar of more than three thousand bottles or assist with private air travel through NetJets. Experiences and reservations are arranged with the team and remain subject to availability.
