Smith joined Skipstone in 2018 as Estate Director, where she played a key role in shaping the estate’s luxury hospitality and direct-to-consumer programs. She oversaw guest experiences, private client relationships, and estate operations, helping establish Skipstone as one of Sonoma County’s most distinctive, high-touch wine country destinations. She also led the redesign and relaunch of the five-bedroom Residence at Skipstone in 2023, now recognized as one of the region’s most sought-after luxury accommodations.

Prior to joining Skipstone, Smith worked with luxury travel company Inspirato, managing high-end estate and destination experiences across Northern California and developing expertise in personalized service for ultra-high-net-worth clientele. Raised in Sonoma County, she brings a deep connection to the region’s agricultural heritage and a hands-on leadership style rooted in stewardship of both land and community.

As General Manager, Smith works closely with proprietor Fahri Diner, winemaker Laura Jones, and the entire team to guide Skipstone’s continued evolution. Her leadership spans hospitality, direct-to-consumer growth, operational management, and financial performance, ensuring the estate’s commitment to sustainability, precision farming, and personalized guest experiences remains at the heart of every decision.
