Experience
Discover Skipstone at the estate.
Private visits are offered daily by appointment for groups of up to twelve guests. Explore the experiences below and choose the tasting that speaks to your interests; each offers its own introduction to our wines and the place behind them.
Foundation Tasting
Our signature private estate experience offers an introduction to the character and craftsmanship of Skipstone. A thoughtfully chosen flight of current-vintage, allocated wines reveals the breadth of the portfolio and the distinctive expression of the estate.
One tasting fee is waived with each $500 purchase or upon enrollment in the Skipstone Membership, subject to membership tier.
Stepping Stone Tasting
An elegant introduction to Skipstone, with current-release, non-allocated wines served in our tasting salon overlooking Alexander Valley. Gather at a communal table, take in the landscape, and discover the estate in the company of fellow guests.
Tasting fees are waived upon enrollment in the Skipstone Membership, subject to membership tier.
Retrospective Tasting
An exploration of time and terroir, this private tasting brings together treasured library vintages and strictly allocated releases. Each wine opens a chapter of the estate’s story, revealing the nuance that develops with patient cellaring and the longevity at the heart of the Skipstone portfolio. These are wines we rarely have the occasion to pour.
One tasting fee is waived with each $1,000 purchase or upon enrollment in the Skipstone Membership, subject to membership tier.
We reserve some tasting appointments for active Collector Members and longstanding clients beyond those shown on Tock. If your preferred time is unavailable, our team will be pleased to help you explore the possibilities.
For a group of more than twelve, or a visit within the next forty-eight hours, please contact us directly at 707.433.9124 or info@skipstonewines.com. We welcome the opportunity to help plan your time at the estate.
